Portland, Oregon – I am looking to hire Cath Lab Rad Techs in the Portland, OR area. This is a 13 week travel job with the good possibility of multiple extension offers.
One of my clients in the Portland, Oregon area has a busy cath Lab and typically sees over 3500 cardiac cases, 1000 EP cases, and 1000 radiology/vascular cases a year. It’s a busy, busy lab.
This lab has 5 main cath labs, 1 hybrid OR room, and 1 outpatient for radiology and cath. This job will consist of 4-10 hour shifts, plus call. The call rotation for this job will include 1 night every week as well as every 5-6 weeks.
This job is ideal for the experienced Cath Lab tech who is ARRT and has at least 2 years of experience. This is primarily a scrub position and is great for the healthcare provide who likes to stay busy, try new things, and work on some neat things. Radiology experience is a must. Previous travel experience is not necessary. This could turn out to be a great first time travel assignment!
Recent experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures and STEMIs are required. Experience with PICC lines, ports, G/J tube insertion, kyphoplasty, fistulogram, AAA stenting is a bonus. Our client prefers techs who are highly experienced at right and left heart caths, temporary pacemakers, IABP, PCIs, including POBA and coronary stenting, PCI balloon and stent. Experience with rotablation, impella, and DCA is a plus.
The RCIS is a plus, but is not required.
