Overview: A hospital in South Florida has an open position for a Clinical Pharmacist. The Pharmacist must have experience working in an Oncology setting, and must have strong knowledge of chemotherapy. This facility is seeking a very strong professional with excellent IV skills.
Job Description: The Pharmacist will work with a team of expert physicians and nurses to provide evidence based, timely, and accurate pharmaceutical care of all patients. The Pharmacist must have recent inpatient hospital experience and it must include kinetic dosing, anticoagulant dosing, and renal dosing. The Oncology Pharmacist must have the ability to develop and manage protocols for prescribing, dosing, and monitoring of chemotherapy agents, erythropoietic and iron preparations, antibiotics and immune globulin. The pharmacist will lead a systematic review of indications, dosage, and reimbursement of all requests to determine appropriate use of resources.
PharmD or BS Pharmacy from accredited pharmacy school
Active and clear FL license
ASHP accredited PGY-1 residency or 3+ years of clinical experience
