A school district in the Fort Collins, Colorado area near Greeley is interviewing for a full time (37.5 hours/week) Occupational Therapy job for the contract school year. Caseloads contain 40 – 45 students. Therapist will see a mix between consultations and direct service between 2 – 3 school sites. Hired OT will have the option of preferred setting. This district provides great support and other therapists on staff are very helpful. Job duties and responsibilities include:
Cooperating with school personnel, parents, and physicians as requested and required.
Preparing, implementing, and evaluating a plan of care for each student in accordance with district policies.
Designing occupational therapy program that is consistent with the educational philosophy and goals of the district.
Providing specialized OT techniques through individual and/or group sessions designed to meet the needs of each student.
Qualifications: OTRs must have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university. Prior schools or pediatric experience is a major plus. Candidates must have the ability to secure state licensure.
