Soliant Health has partnered with a fast growing sterile/non-sterile compounding pharmacy (503A) that specializes in men's health/urology near Tampa, FL.

We are seeking a full time pharmacist for day hours, generally 9am - 6pm, 44 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Checking prescriptions for dispensing.
  • Weighing bulk drug powders.
  • Preparing non sterile topical gels and troches.
  • Visual inspections of sterile products.
  • Prescription data entry into PK pharmacy software and Salesforce CRM.
  • Managing technician performance and schedule.
  • Manage inventory and product acquisitions to increase margin. Approve purchase orders to manage budgets.
  • Cooperating with other departments to fulfill orders and troubleshoot difficult customer scenarios.

  • Required:
  • Familiar with the Drug Quality and Security Act of 2013 and the differences between 503A and 503B facility requirements is desired.
  • Interested in tracking and staying on top of regulatory changes from various Boards of Pharmacy as well as guidances from the FDA is desired.
  • Develop formulas from scratch and recommend testing requirements to validate the formula is desired.
  • Should be familiar with the Florida Sterile Inspection procedure and evaluation form.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to be able to track paperwork and policies related to production.

  • Additional preferred skills:

  • Familiarity with PK "The Compounder"
  • Sterile and Non-Sterile compounding experience.
  • Familiarity with USP 795 and 797 gained from working in a compounding environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft word and Excel.

  • Pharmacists with multiple state licenses are strongly desired in addition to the Florida license, which is a must. Licenses in Maryland, Virginia, Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Tennessee are preferred.
