We are currently scheduling interviews for a full time Teacher of the Visually Impaired to work a contract assignment with a school district north of Houston, Texas.
The school has a need for a Texas certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired to service the district’s visually impaired students. This position is full time and will start working as soon as possible. Candidates should expect a caseload with students of all ages, and should have experience working as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired. A TX state TVI certification is required to be considered for this position. Candidates who hold licensure and certification in other states are encouraged to apply as well.
Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Caseload: grades K-12
Working itinerantly through the district

Salary negotiable depending on experience
TX TVI certification required (or the ability to acquire one quickly)
Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Visual Impairment or a credential focused in teaching Visually Impaired and Blind students. Ideal candidates hold a certification from the TX Board of Education.
