A school district in northeast Indiana near Angola is looking to hire a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI). Interviews for this position are being conducted this week.
About the job:
The school district will be offering the interpreter a full time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day, M-F). The SLI will be working at a single location with a high school student. Interpreting during some extra-curricular activities may be required.
SLIs interested in this position will need to have an Indiana Educational Interpreter Certification. To qualify for the appropriate certification, interpreters must be RID certified or have an EIPA score of 3.5.
