Soliant Health has partnered with a district in the Richmond, VA area that is looking to fill an open job for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH).

Details on the job:
*Full Time hours (30+ per week)
*Caseload: Kindergarten-12th grade
*Itinerant (reimbursement available for mileage between schools)
*Creating student-specific Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
*Use tools/skills for language improvement
*Auditory training
*Document records to share with parents, teachers, and administration

Requirements:
A qualified DHH Teacher will have a Master’s Degree and appropriate state licensure/certification for the state of Virginia. DHH Teachers who are not licensed in Virginia but are eligible for a VA license are still encouraged to apply. Recent school experience or experience with children is preferred, but not required.
