Have you had recent experience managing a team of 4+ employees in Medical Reimbursement?  Then we have a job for you!  We are hiring for a growing company located here in St. Louis, MO for a Medical Reimbursement Account Supervisor job. You must have a thorough understanding of the revenue cycle and ideally, you must have a minimum of four years’ experience working in a supervisory role. Other pieces that are important for you to have are experience organizing team meetings, financial budgets, productivity goals, and ability to work in a fast paced environment. This is a direct hire opportunity!  
As a Medical Reimbursement Supervisor your responsibilities are as follows:
• Manage the process and staff for challenging payers, achieving financial results as a primary function
• Directly manage a team of 3-10 Reimbursement Specialist
• Working with provider reps with insurance companies
• Develop training material and best practice documents and conduct appropriate training
• Routinely hold meetings to communicate changes, share results, and identify trouble areas
• Evaluate staff performance; annual reviews
• Ensure that identified problem payers are reviewed for root cause and work with appropriate staff to come up with a resolution to accounts receivable
• Reviews new contract documentation and is actively involved with setup of new payers to ensure billing practices are adhered to for new contracts
• Ensure all billing and collections practices follow company best practices and state/federal regulations
To be successful in this role you must have:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Associates degree required
• Minimum of four years’ experience in related supervisory positions
• Able to effectively delegate work assignments fairly and appropriately
• Collaborate with management teams, as well as other groups throughout organization
• Able to accept accountability and demonstrate a willingness to seek solutions
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Establish working relationships with individuals and groups, both professional and non-professional
• Strong verbal and written communication skills- must be able to listen well and retain information/ instructions
• Understanding of financial budgets and goals
• Strong organization skills
• Quick learner
• Strong technical ability- MS Office Suite
• Experience in healthcare software is preferred
