Milwaukee WI Speech Pathology Pediatric Position
- Job Location:
Schools - SLP
A School west of Milwaukee WI has requested the help of Soliant Health to find a licensed, certified Speech Pathologist for the school year. This job is full time and will be working with only 30 students!
The duties of the Speech Therapist (SLP) will include assessing students’ communication skills, such as articulation, receptive language, and fluency to identify communication disorders and developing recommendations as part of the Individualized Education Program (IEP).
The grade level of students on the caseload is a healthy mix of all ages.. Flexibility to work with a wide range of ages is preferred, as the caseload may include PreK pediatric kids, elementary, middle, and/or high school students. This is not with a typical district but where some kids reside on campus! Beautiful area and campus on the water.
The minimum qualifications are the completion of a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program. New graduates are able to apply, but priority may be given to Speech Therapists with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred but not required.
