Lead Clinical Lab Scientist is needed for permanent full-time day shift job at this 110 bed acute care hospital. Lead CLS generalist with valid California license willing to work all areas of a busy 24/7 hospital laboratory. Technical areas include, but are not limited to hematology, chemistry, serology, microbiology, immunohematology and urinalysis. Phlebotomy skills are required occasionally. The lead CLS will take one weekend of call every third weekend. The minimum requirements are BS in a healthcare related field and successful completion of a 1 year internship. Experience with quality control review and management according to CLIA and JC guidelines.
