Your Phlebotomy and Supervisor experience is in high demand at 400 bed not-for-profit hospital. This Permanent Phlebotomy Supervisor job requires that you be a high school graduate or equivalent, with some college preferred. The Supervisor must have a current Phlebotomy certification as required by State of California Department of Health Services, and current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card. At least three years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Special skills include excellent venipuncture, heelstick and fingerstick technique for neonates to geriatric patients, including psychiatric and neurological impaired. Special training is preferred in blood collection of neonates. Excellent communication skills and leadership skills are essential to insure patient and staff cooperation and satisfaction and ensure excellent customer service and phlebotomy skills. Supervisor experience is preferred with emphasis on a cooperative team approach. You will supervise a staff of over 40 personnel.
