Soliant Health is working with a partner school district near Seattle, WA and is accepting applications for a Speech Language Pathologist opening in the Special Education Department.
The duties of the Speech Therapist (SLP) will include assessing students’ communication skills, such as articulation, receptive language, and fluency to identify communication disorders and developing recommendations as part of the Individualized Education Program (IEP).
This is an excellent district and is very supportive. Seattle is such a beautiful city with so much to do. You will also have the chance to be the 12th man for the Seattle Seahawks!
The grade level of students on the caseload is currently being reviewed. Flexibility to work with a wide range of ages is preferred, as the caseload may include PreK pediatric kiddos, elementary, middle, and/or high school students within the school district.
The minimum qualifications are the completion of a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program. New graduates are able to apply, but priority may be given to Speech Therapists with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred but not required.
