1:1 School Nurse Needed Near Philadelphia, PA

Soliant has partnered with a school district near Philadelphia, PA to find a qualified and experienced 1:1 School Nurse for the Summer term.

Description of Position:

• Full Time
• 1:1 with a female student with a trach, g-tube, and shunt – student experiences seizures
• Must ride bus with student
• Provide direct medical care and support to a student with special needs, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing medical equipment
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans (IHCPs) in collaboration with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers
• Monitor the student's health and safety needs throughout the school day and communicate with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or associate degree in Nursing
• State Certification/Licensure
• Experience working with students with special needs in a school or clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of evidencebased medical procedures and practices for children with special needs
