2023-2024 School Year OT Early Childhood Contract Job Available

Are you a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) looking for a part-time opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? Do you possess the expertise to provide exceptional occupational therapy services? We are seeking a motivated and qualified OT to join our team in Little Rock, AR for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students, including interventions to improve motor coordination, sensory integration, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary
• Provide advisory and professional support to educators and other team members
• Willingness to travel to different school locations as required

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or pediatric setting
• Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals
