Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary
- Conduct meetings and provide regular communication to parents regarding their child's progress and therapy recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in speech-language pathology
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with children or adolescents with speech and language disorders
- Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals
