2023-2024 School Year SLP Contract Job Available

Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to make a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate SLP to join our team in Sheldon, TX for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary
• Conduct meetings and provide regular communication to parents regarding their child's progress and therapy recommendations
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in speech-language pathology
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with children or adolescents with speech and language disorders
• Strong knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals
