Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Location: Attleboro, MA
Dates: ASAP - June 15th; Likely to renew for next school year
Hours: Full-time; 8:30-3:30pm
Caseload: 50 students; SLP Supervision
Requirements: Bachelors Degree and State Licensure
Pay range: $28-35/hr
Job Description:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, your role will involve providing speech and language services to students across the elementary, middle school, and high school levels.
Responsibilities of the SLP may include, but are not limited to:
Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
Developing individualized treatment plans and goals for students with communication needs.
Providing direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom.
Monitoring and documenting students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing input on students' goals and progress.
Providing support and training to teachers and staff on strategies to promote communication development.
Staying updated on the latest research, techniques, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Please note that meeting the requirements for a Washington State SLP License is essential for this position.
