2023-2024 School Year SPED Contract Job Available

In collaboration with the local school district, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year in Centreville, IN. This position requires an active Michigan Special Education license.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
• Adapt and customize instructional materials and strategies to cater to the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and related service providers to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive educational experience for students.
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing valuable feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Special Education license.
• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Familiarity with special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
