Are you a passionate Speech Language Pathologist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students during the Extended School Year? We have multiple openings in Riverside, CA, and we're seeking qualified professionals to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Option 1: Perform pre-school initial assessments, which include conducting the initial meeting with parents, conducting observations, administering assessments, writing comprehensive reports, presenting at the Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and providing follow-up services as needed.
  • Option 2: Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) assigned to the Extended School Year program. Provide guidance, support, and supervision to SLPAs while delivering services. If necessary, also conduct assessments in accordance with student needs.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid California state license in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Prior experience in conducting assessments, writing reports, and participating in IEP meetings (for Option 1).
  • Experience supervising SLPAs is preferred (for Option 2).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and other members of the educational team.
