2023/2024 School RN Nurse Opportunity Available in Fort Worth, TX

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking for an opportunity to provide exceptional healthcare services to students? We are seeking a highly motivated and caring School Nurse (RN) to join our team in Fort Worth, TX for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with medical protocols and school policies
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and administer medications as necessary
• Monitor and manage students with chronic health conditions, including the development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care until additional help arrives
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote a healthy and safe school environment
• Educate students, families, and staff on health-related topics and preventive measures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, community resources, and agencies as needed
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Texas
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience working in pediatric or school settings preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
