Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Colorado Springs, CO. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment, providing essential occupational therapy services to students in our district.


  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' functional abilities related to activities of daily living (ADL), fine motor skills, sensory processing, and visual-motor integration.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to address students' specific needs and goals, as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings, targeting improvement in motor skills, sensory regulation, self-care, and school-related tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' educational programs and support their academic success.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans and goals as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations regarding occupational therapy goals, accommodations, and modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, progress reports, and billing records in accordance with district and state regulations.


  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Colorado state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
