Job Title: School Social Worker (4 Positions)

Location: Blue Island, IL

Job Description:

We are looking for multiple full-time school social workers to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidates will provide social-emotional support to students in grades K-8. The ideal candidates will have a passion for helping children and families, and a commitment to social justice.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments to identify and address social-emotional needs
• Advocate for students and families

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work (MSW)
• Valid Illinois social work license
• PEL
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
