Job Title: Occupational Therapist (On-site, Full-time) Location: SE New Mexico

Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing company, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in SE New Mexico. This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week. The chosen candidate will be based on-site and will have the opportunity to work in one of the most affordable and picturesque cities in New Mexico.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and functional abilities to determine their occupational therapy needs
• Develop personalized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with patients, their families, and the healthcare team
• Implement and administer a wide range of therapeutic interventions, exercises, and activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, sensory integration, and overall functional independence
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
• Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment usage, and strategies for maintaining independence and safety
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate and optimize patient care

Requirements:

• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
• Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals through occupational therapy
