'23-24 Special Education Teachers Needed in Rock Hill, SC

We are currently looking for two Special Education Teachers to start with the school district for the 2023-2024 school year. Please see details below:

Location: Rock Hill, SC

• Contract Position
• Full Time |37.5 hours a week
• Start/End Date: August 21^st, 2023-June 6^th, 2024
• Caseload: Middle School Self Contained
  • Working with students with moderate intellectual disabilities
• Pay Range: $30-40/hr (depending on experience)
• Onsite Only
• Zoom Interview

Required Credentials/Non-Negotiables:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or Master’s/Doctoral Degree in Special Education
• Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching License

Duties:

• Assess students’ skills and determine their educational needs.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups and one-on-one.
• Discuss students’ progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators.
