Apply NowSoliant is currently seeking an contracted School BCBA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioral challenges by implementing evidence-based strategies, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals. Your primary focus will be to develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans, provide training and coaching to school staff, and monitor progress through data collection and analysis. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify areas of need and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement behavior support strategies within the school environment.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to school staff on behavior management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and crisis prevention/intervention.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting intervention plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with the IEP (Individualized Education Program) team to ensure the integration of behavior goals and strategies into students' educational plans.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and provide recommendations for home-based support.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience working in educational settings with students with diverse needs, including autism spectrum disorders and behavioral challenges.
- Deep knowledge of evidence-based behavior intervention strategies and applied behavior analysis principles.
- Strong data collection and analysis skills to monitor student progress and inform intervention plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff, parents, and other professionals.
- Ability to provide training and coaching to support the professional development of school staff.
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations, including the IEP process.
