Our district is currently seeking experienced special education teachers in Augusta, Georgia

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Special Education
• GAPSC certified in Special Ed General Curriculum
• At least 2+ years prior experience as a special education teacher

Details:

• Multiple Positions Available -Middle School
• Full time
• 40 hours per week
• Onsite / In person
• Start Date:  August 3, 2023 - May 22, 2024

  On the Job Duties:

• Creating and adapting instructional materials and methods to meet the unique needs and learning styles of students with disabilities
• Individualized Education Program (IEP) Development
• Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing student behavior, and providing support for students with challenging behaviors
• Assessment and Progress Monitoring
