We are in collaboration with a school district in Coal Center, PA, currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position this Summer.

Summer Program Dates: June 13 - August 1

Hours: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm (37.5 hours per week)

Caseload: 50-60 students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records of services provided

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with a diverse caseload of students with various speech and language disorders
  • Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
