As an OT within a school environment, your role involves providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to students facing physical, cognitive, or emotional hurdles. Your main aim is to aid students in developing, regaining, or enhancing their ability to carry out daily tasks, fostering greater independence and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments to gauge students' physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional strengths and limitations.
• Craft individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, taking into account students' goals, capacities, and preferences.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment, to boost functional independence and enhance overall quality of life.
• Offer hands-on therapy and guidance to students to enhance their motor skills, coordination, strength, balance, and range of motion.
• Educate students, families, and caregivers on strategies and methods to maximize independence and integrate therapy goals into daily life.

Qualifications:
• Hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possess current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, as well as familiarity with various physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions and their impact on daily functioning.
• Showcase proven expertise in assessing, planning, and executing occupational therapy interventions.
• Exhibit empathy, patience, and sensitivity to the distinct needs and obstacles faced by individuals receiving occupational therapy services.
