Join our team in Newport, New Hampshire, as a full-time Paraprofessional for the 2024-2025 school year. This position offers opportunities in both 1:1 and shared para settings across elementary, middle school, and high school campuses. Immediate availability for a professional development day on 8/27/24, with regular duties from 9/3/24 to 6/19/25. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional requirements for elementary positions requiring a Para II certificate.


  • Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in either 1:1 or shared para settings.
  • Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting instructional materials as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement educational strategies and interventions.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques and support students in managing behavior effectively.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Para II certificate required for elementary school positions.
  • Experience working with students in educational or related settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of educational strategies and ability to support instructional activities.
