Allentown, PA: Itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist

Soliant is working with a county Education Program commutable from Allentown, PA, and is seeking a contract SLP to serve as itinerant therapists throughout the county.

Applicants will be focused on school aged students, and cover multiple sites. Reasonable attempts will be made to assign buildings with geographical proximity.

SLP duties include:

• Providing speech and/or language therapy to K-12 students
• Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload
• Evaluating students with suspected communication disorders; making recommendations for speech and language services as needed
• Providing comprehensive written reports of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines
• Developing speech and language goals
• Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
• Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development or the curriculum
• Complete paperwork necessary for Medicaid billings

Requirements:
