American Sign Language Interpreter (ASLI) Position Available in San Antonio, TX
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced American Sign Language Interpreter (ASLI) for 2023/2024 school year. The ASLI will teach the ASL 2 course. This is a full-time position with an August 2023 start and a contract term until May 2024.
Location: San Antonio, TX
Full Time: 37.5 hrs/week
Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between the student and teachers or other school staff.
• Will be teaching the ASL 2 course.
• High School caseload.

Qualifications:

• Active National ASL Certification.
• Prior experience working as an ASLI in a school setting preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Familiarity with educational practices and terminology.
