Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and professional requirements.
• Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Conduct medication therapy reviews to identify potential issues and make recommendations for therapy optimization.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient information.
• Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, ordering medications, and managing expiration dates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana.
• Flexibility to work on a per diem basis, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
