Job Title: Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Near San Mateo, CA
Position Type: Full-Time, Full School Year
Preference for Bilingual Spanish candidates
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the educational setting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- California state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Preference for candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and team members.
