Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Opening Near Phoenix, AZ | Full School Year

Soliant is thrilled to announce an immediate opening for a dedicated Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join a respected school district near Phoenix, Arizona. This is a full-time position with a commitment from ASAP through the end of the school year. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to Speech Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and screenings to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to students' specific needs and therapy goals.
• Conduct speech and language therapy sessions with students, both individually and in group settings, under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate effective communication strategies into the classroom.
• Monitor and document student progress, collecting data and reporting outcomes to the supervising Speech Language Pathologist.
• Support the development of students' speech and language skills in both English and Spanish, as needed.
• Assist with translating and interpreting for students and families who speak Spanish, facilitating communication and engagement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages communication and language development.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality speech and language services to students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, colleagues, and other professionals.
• Dedication to creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
• Availability to work full-time from ASAP through the end of the school year.
