Soliant is seeking bilingual Speech-Language Pathologists for a contract assignment with a large school district in Missouri City, Texas (Southwestern Houston).
Both full- and part-time applicants are welcome! Applicants will play an active role in assessing, evaluating, and providing therapy to Spanish-speaking families. Advanced proficiency in Spanish is a PLUS if therapists are able to conduct IEP meetings in Spanish.
As a school-based SLP, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Accept referrals and screen children
- Prepare written reports, interpret assessments and data for ARDs.
- Schedule therapy sessions for students in groups or on a one-on-one basis
- Meet with parents to review student progress, reassess needs, etc.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teaching staff, and administrators.
- Work closely with other members of program staff to develop curricula.
Requirements:
- Texas SLP license (provisional or full)
