Pay: $40+/Hour

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Bilingual (Spanish) School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing speech and language therapy services to students who are bilingual in English and Spanish. The SLP will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students, with a focus on supporting bilingual learners.


  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities in both English and Spanish.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of bilingual students.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups, targeting speech and language goals outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom curriculum.
  • Monitor students' progress regularly and adjust intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate and support families on ways to facilitate communication development at home, particularly in bilingual environments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and service delivery in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings, to discuss students' progress, goals, and recommendations for services.
  • Stay current on research, best practices, and emerging trends in the field of speech-language pathology, particularly related to bilingual education.
  • Collaborate with community resources and outside agencies to provide additional support and services to students and families as needed.


  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, including strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention techniques for addressing speech and language disorders in bilingual learners.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and community stakeholders to support student success.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in the field of speech-language pathology.
