Soliant is delighted to announce an immediate opportunity for a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a reputable school district near Leavenworth, Kansas. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact on a non-verbal student with severe behavior challenges while collaborating with a supportive team. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the educational team to assess and evaluate the behavior of a non-verbal student with severe behavior challenges.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to the student's unique needs and goals.
  • Create effective data collection processes to monitor and analyze student behavior, making data-driven decisions to adjust intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with two paraprofessionals (paras) and two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans.
  • Provide training and guidance to the team members, helping them understand and implement behavior modification techniques.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and observations to track the student's progress and make necessary adjustments to the BIP.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings with the educational team and parents to discuss progress and modify the BIP as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student while working towards behavioral goals.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality behavior analysis and support in an educational setting.
  • Previous experience developing behavior intervention plans and data collection processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, colleagues, and support staff.
  • Dedication to creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
  • Availability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, from ASAP to 5/23/2024.
