This position spans the entire school year and involves working closely with students, staff, and parents to provide essential behavioral support and training. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide direct support to students with behavior challenges, implementing evidence-based interventions and strategies.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and data collection to monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
- Offer training and support to school staff and parents in implementing behavior modification techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with the educational team to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to behavior management.
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute insights and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to behavior assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school environment that promotes student success and social-emotional growth.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality behavior analysis and support in an educational setting.
- Previous experience working with students with behavior challenges in a school environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, colleagues, and other professionals.
- Dedication to creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
- Availability to work full-time, 7 hours per day, throughout the entire school year.
