A School Near Norwalk, CT needs a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to fill an immediate opening. Candidates will be working in a school setting with a supportive staff and great atmosphere. Job Details:

  • Full Time: 8:10am-2:40pm
  • Contract Dates: ASAP-EOSY
  • Case Load: 2-3 Classrooms with Students with ASD or other related disabilities
  • Develop and oversee implementation of any needed BIPS for students
  • Support skill acquisition by offering strategies to the team and be a part of school-based crisis team
  • Ability to coach and consult with parents, teachers, and staff
  • Responsible for conducting and observing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and VB MAPPS
  • Consult on behavioral IEP goals for each student and function as a member of the PPT team
  • Work side-by-side with teachers to assess students’ needs and improvements

Requirements: 

  • Must hold valid certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Master's Degree or higher in Psychology or Behavior Analysis
  • Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of prevention and intervention strategies
