Brighton, MI: School-based Social Worker

Soliant is working with a school near Brighton, MI, and is seeking contract Social Workers for the remainder of the school year.

Assignment details:

• Full-time applicants preferred; part-time applicants welcome
• Both elementary and secondary caseloads available (Secondary coverage is the priority)
• Start: within 2-3 weeks of job offer at the latest
• End: end of school year--renewals for the next school year will be discussed as we approach the end of the school year 

Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a type 310 School Social Worker certificate, issued by the Michigan Department of Education (temp licenses accepted)

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students who require social worker services in their IEPs
• Crisis intervention
• Support students with trauma in their social histories
• Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments
• Developing Behavior Intervention Plans
