In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Pulling medications from stock and matching medications with the corresponding labels generated by the pharmacist involved with entry of medication orders into the patient's computer-generated profile in an accurate manner.
- Maintaining floor stock (restocking, removal of expired medications, rotate stock) of nursing areas and other medication areas. Pricing and stocking in-coming deliveries.
- Preparing IV medication products within the guidelines of applicable laws and regulations.
- Checking in orders from wholesaler and suppliers. Distributing appropriately the stock and file paperwork; processing returns and back orders in a timely manner.
The qualified candidate will have:
- Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy: Required
- Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification: Preferred
