Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Oakley, California

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

As a BCBA within our school district, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive behavioral changes and creating a supportive learning environment for students. You will collaborate with school staff and parents to develop and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and provide training to support the success of students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral strategies.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all assessments, interventions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • California state licensure as a BCBA (or eligible to obtain).
  • Experience working with students in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and evidence-based practices.
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Special Education laws and regulations is a plus.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $60-70 based on experience
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Optometrist and 401k plan
