Surrounding areas of South Glenn, CO are in desperate need of a caring, compassionate, and qualified Speech Language Pathologist. Below are details concerning the positions requirements and schedule:
2 full-time, full school year SLP positions
Caseload 1: one preschool-6th caseload with less than 40 students
Caseload 2: split between 2 school sites: first site tk-6 (sole SLP) and second site working with another SLP (tk-6)
Expectations:
Speech-language pathologist will be working with students who have problems with speech and language, including related cognitive or social communication problems. Problems may range from being unable to speak at all, to having difficulties with rhythm and fluency problems, such as stuttering.
Goals:
You will be expected to foster and facilitate means of communication, including oral speech production, sign language and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC). The main objective is to provide a means for individuals to communicate their wants, needs, thoughts, concerns, or opinions.
