California IR RN Contract Position

Position: IR Nurse Location: Orange, California Contract Type: Short-term contract, with potential for extension Shift: Flexible shifts available Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists to assist with a wide range of minimally invasive procedures, such as angiography, embolization, and biopsies
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Operate specialized equipment, including fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices
• Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures
• Provide post-procedure care, including wound management and patient education
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records using IR-specific software systems

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology (IR) setting
• Strong knowledge of IR procedures, equipment, and protocols
• Proficiency in using fluoroscopy machines, ultrasound devices, and other IR-specific technology
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a fast-paced environment
