Job Type Contract
  Under general supervision and according to established procedures and regulations, performs duties as follows:
o Operates radiologic equipment and troubleshoots in order to solve equipment -related problems
o Performs decentralized testing according to protocol
o Assists the RNs in planning, implementing and evaluating the care of the Cath lab patient
o Coordinates and organizes supplies, equipment and instruments needed for Cath lab procedures
o Provides assistance to physicians performing cath lab procedures
o Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
o Assists with transporting patients,
o Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
Onboarding Process: Please be advised that candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening which includes a drug screen.
Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of an Associate's Degree in radiology technology. One to two years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology. Scrub experience required. Registered or registry-eligible by the ARRT. Current licensure in Massachusetts.
