Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Castle Rock, CO Employment Type: Full-time, New School Year License Requirement: CDE SSP License

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Castle Rock, CO. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech and language services to students within the district. This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and communication goals
  • Monitor and document students' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' IEP goals
  • Stay updated on current research, trends, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDE SSP License (Colorado Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Special Service Provider)
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children and knowledge of special education processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
