Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Castle Rock, CO. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech and language services to students within the district. This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and communication goals
- Monitor and document students' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' IEP goals
- Stay updated on current research, trends, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Valid CDE SSP License (Colorado Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Special Service Provider)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children and knowledge of special education processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
