Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment in Cape Cod, MA

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel assignment in Cape Cod, MA. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of critical care experience, with current cardiovascular interventional nursing or cardiac surgical nursing experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their skillset and work in a new environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab
• Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support Certification required and must maintain certification
• ACLS required
• Successful passage of CCHC's Pharmacology exam
• Successful passage of Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge exam
• Current Cardiovascular interventional nursing experience or cardiac surgical nursing experience required
• IABP certification within 6 months of hire
• BSN Preferred
• CCRN or CRN preferred
• Use of lead apron required
• Demonstrated skills in I.V. administration and telemetry monitoring required
