Cath Lab Tech or Interventional Radiologist Travel Assignment in New Britain CT

We are currently seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech or IR for a travel assignment in New Britain, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in the performance of invasive procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up the cath lab for procedures
• Assist physicians with procedures and sterile techniques
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment
• Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and supplies
• Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications:

• Must be a certified Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist
• Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a cath lab or interventional radiology setting
• Must be knowledgeable of cath lab procedures and equipment
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work independently and in a team setting
• Must be willing to travel and work on a temporary basis
