Cath Lab Technologist Position in Chesapeake, Virginia

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team in Chesapeake, Virginia.

As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a crucial role in our cardiac care team. You will be responsible for assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, providing high-quality patient care, and ensuring the efficient operation of our Cath Lab.

• 13 weeks contract
• Shift: 5x8s

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and supplies.
• Assist in the setup, monitoring, and documentation of cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide immediate assistance in case of complications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technician is preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
