Centralia, WA: School SLP

Calling on SLPs seeking a work schedule that allows for longer weekends! Soliant has partnered with a school community located just outside of Centralia, WA to place a Speech Language Pathologist for the next school year.

Assignment information:

• School staff work 4 days a week, 8.75 hours per day
• The school year is 148 days instead of the typical 180 or 185-day schedule

We seek applicants with the following core competencies:

• Solid problem solving skills: be curious, ask questions, and think your way around a problem
• Flexibility: manage shifting priorities and uncertainties that may arise due to poor communication or lack of information
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Students, staff and parents depend on you to treat, coach and educate them
• Organization skills: maintain accurate records and create a system for sharing information with others
• Up-to-date knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy or activities for school children, and Special Education procedures in a public school setting

Caseload and building assignments will be discussed during an interview with school applications.

Education and license requirements:

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
• Washington license in Speech-Language Pathology 
• Washington Educational Staff Associate credential
