Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist (OT) in delivering therapy services according to individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Implement therapeutic activities to improve students’ motor skills, coordination, and independence.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting activities as necessary under OT guidance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' development.
• Maintain organized and accurate records to ensure compliance with school and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Illinois.
• Active Illinois state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
